It’s confirmed: the thin and light HONOR Magic V2 foldable smartphone is launching in the Philippines on February 21.
The HONOR Magic V2 is an exceptionally light and thin foldable phone, weighing just 231g and measuring 9.9mm when folded. Its design breaks new ground by achieving a thickness below 1 cm for foldable phones.
This slim and lightweight profile is made possible by innovative materials like titanium alloy in the hinge and second-generation nanocrystal glass. The hinge can endure over 400,000 folds, and the nanocrystal glass provides 10 times better drop resistance compared to regular glass.
The Magic V2 is equipped with a 5000mAh dual-cell silicon-carbon battery that ensures all-day battery life. Quick charging is made possible with the included 66W supercharger.
Both inner and external displays have a 120Hz high refresh rate. The 7.92-inch foldable LTPO OLED screen has a 1600nits peak brightness and stylus support, while the outer screen is a 6.43-inch LTPO screen with 2,500 nits peak brightness, stylus support, and a NanoCrystal Glass 2.0.
Both panels support 10-bit color, HDR10+, and 3840Hz PWM dimming technology, which is TÜV Rheinland flicker-free certified.
