If you’re old enough to remember a bright blue bus with heart-shaped graphics prowling the streets of Metro Manila, then hear this: Hino Motors Philippines (HMP) is bringing back the iconic Love Bus.

Hino is reigniting the Love Bus nostalgia with its modern version of the people carrier: the HS8J Low Floor City Bus. Designed for city operations, this bus features a ground clearance of 375mm, allowing for a lower center of gravity and enhancing ride stability while reducing sway and roll inside the cabin.

This new bus also features a side kneeling function, where the doors can be lowered to the standard gutter height to make getting in and out of the vehicle easier. It also features a full-flat floor, a folding ramp for boarding, as well as a dedicated space for wheelchairs inside.

The HS8J optimizes cabin space with a combination of front and side-facing seats. This configuration creates a spacious aisle for standing passengers (up to 26) while maintaining generous legroom for those seated (up to 36 people).
