Grab Philippines reinforces its dedication to the welfare of its driver- and delivery-partners at this year’s celebration of Buwan ng Tagapaghatid. The annual event is a recognition of the hard work and dedication of these independent Grab partners who play a crucial role in providing safe and convenient services to passengers and consumers.

MagPasa-Salamat: Gratitude in a single tap

This month, Grab invites its users to show their gratitude to Grab driver- and delivery-partners through the MagPasa-Salamat Campaign.

With Tip Matching, Grab doubles the tips given by users, effectively increasing the earnings for its partners. The first Tip Matching event happened on November 12, resulting in a 36% surge in total tips compared to the daily average. Grab app users are encouraged to save the date for the next Tip Matching Day, which is on November 26.

Users are also encouraged to use Grab’s mechanisms to rate their experience with a driver or delivery-partner. Grab and its partner communities anticipate comments and feedback—whether  acknowledging service excellence or suggesting improvements.

Another innovative feature of the Grab app is the Food For Your Driver option on GrabFood, which enables consumers not only to order meals for themselves but also to treat their drivers to food from the same restaurant. Food chains such as Jollibee, Chowing, Mang Inasal, Baliwag Lechon Manok, and more have embraced the ‘Food For Your Driver’ feature in their GrabFood store.

As part of Buwan ng Tagapaghatid, Seattle’s Best is providing Grab delivery-partners with a complimentary large Iced White Chocolate Mocha for every order over P750 from November 13 to 20. Additionally, until the end of November, Kenny Rogers is extending the consumer’s gratitude by offering a free Coke in can for delivery-partners following a specific minimum order value on GrabFood. 

GrabAsenso: Safeguarding driver welfare

Grab has also unveiled its GrabAsenso campaign,  a comprehensive initiative focused on driving sustainable growth and advancement across five critical pillars.

GrabAsenso implements a  competitive earnings model, incentive scheme, and robust insurance policies for driver- and delivery-partners. By partnering with social protection agencies like SSS and Pag-IBIG, Grab ensures that crucial social welfare and protection programs are easily accessible to its partners, with agency booths stationed at Grab’s Partner Center in Marikina.

Grab also offers micro-financing products that can be easily availed and accessed by partners. Additionally, strategic partnerships with businesses in the mobility industry, such as fuel and automotive maintenance companies, offer exclusive and cost-effective deals to reduce partners’ day-to-day operational expenses.

This November, Grab joined forces with Seaoil, Caltex, and Shell to offer additional deals exclusive for Grab driver- and delivery-partners in select branches in Metro Manila, Pampanga, Davao, Cagayan De Oro, and Iloilo. Key locations have been transformed into Buwan ng Tagapaghatid Pit Stops where Grab partners can enjoy fuel and gear oil discounts, engaging games, and the chance to win exciting prizes.
