Want to capture as much of your adventure as possible? Then GoPro has heard your pleas.

Its latest action camera—the HERO12 Black—now lasts up to 2x longer than its predecessor while still packing the same 1720mAh battery. Its dramatically improved power management system means that in 5.3K60 recording mode—the highest performance setting—the Hero12 can shoot for 70 minutes on a single charge, whereas the Hero11 Black could only do so in half the time.

It can also shoot over 95 minutes at 5.3K30 and over 155 minutes of continuous recording at 1080p30, all with HyperSmooth 6.0 video stabilization on.

The 1/1.9-inch sensor can natively shoot vertical video for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and IG reels content. It can shoot HDR photos and videos as well.

The HERO12 Black also comes with support for Bluetooth headphones and microphones, which could be handy for monitoring (via earbuds) and in-camera voice-over.

Video stabilization has been improved as well. HyperSmooth 6.0 offers advanced video stabilization with AutoBoost, which enhances stabilization when necessary, while maintaining the smallest cropping margin possible with imperceptible transitions between crop levels. The built-in Horizon Lock keeps the horizon level even when your camera rotates a full 360 degrees.

GoPro is also offering a new Max Lens Mod 2.0 accessory, which enables the market’s widest 177° field of view at 4K/60fps. Max Lens Mod 2.0 can capture video and photos in three field-of-view settings—Max Wide, Max SuperView, and the all-new, hyper-immersive Max HyperView.

The GoPro HERO12 Black (P24,990) and Max Lens Mod 2.0 (P7,490) are available for pre-order at GoPro Official LazMall and Shopee Mall stores and at GoPro Authorized Partners nationwide—Abenson, Camerahaus, Colours Foto, Electroworld, Henry’s Cameras, Inbox, Infomax, SM Gadgets, TechPro Unlimited, The Vault, Timeline, Urbangiz, and more. Both products will be available in stores nationwide on September 14.

A new 48-inch-long extension pole that collapses to just 10 inches and is designed to work with HERO12 Black’s new 1/4-20 mounting threads. Included with the new extension pole is a detachable, wearable, and waterproof Bluetooth shutter remote. It will be available this October.
