Globe is making it easier than ever for Filipinos to support causes they care about—simply by going about their day. Through three innovative programs, Globe is helping customers turn routine mobile and financial activities into meaningful contributions to society.
One of these is GoGIVE, a new feature on the GlobeOne app that turns mobile data usage into charitable support. Every time Globe Prepaid users utilize their data to stream a video, browse social media, play games, or chat online, they collect “hearts” for each gigabyte used. These are automatically converted to donations for causes such as animal rescue, forest conservation, digital literacy for women, children’s education, and support for medical frontliners.
GoGIVE is part of a larger ecosystem that includes Globe Rewards and GForest.
Globe Rewards allows customers to donate earned points to organizations such as Hapag Movement, PAWS, PGH Medical Foundation, and the Hineleban Foundation. In 2024 alone, donations through this platform reached P17.8 million.
For GCash users, GForest promotes sustainability by letting users collect green energy through transactions such as bill payments and money transfers. These are then used to plant real trees. As of 2024, over 4 million trees have been planted across 14,300 hectares, benefiting more than 11,000 farming families nationwide.
Through these purpose-driven innovations, Globe continues to lead the way in showing that technology, when used with intention, can help build a better, more compassionate world—one click, point, and tree at a time.
