Geely Auto has relaunched in the Philippines with a grand event showcasing new products, improved operations, and a renewed commitment to the Filipino market.

Geely Motor Philippines Corp. (GMP), the new subsidiary of Geely Automotive International Corporation (GAIC), hosted the event, signaling a shift to direct operations and a customer-centric approach, particularly with faster response times, individualized customer services, and increased user value through exclusive services and promotions

“Innovation and inclusivity are at the heart of Geely’s operations,” said Will Wan, president of Geely Motor Philippines. “Geely will not only be making cars, but we are also creating a better way of living. We aim to bring safety, technology, innovative thinking, and cutting-edge design to Filipino users in a more accessible way. We are enabling them to explore new horizons, possibilities, and perspectives to see the world in full.”

One of the highlights of the event is the preview of the Geely EX5, a new energy vehicle with a bold and dynamic exterior, luxurious interior, and advanced technology such as the FLYME Auto system and FLYME SOUND. The EX5 features a “Short Blade Battery” for enhanced safety and durability, and an 11-in-1 intelligent electric drive system.

Geely also showcased upgraded versions of the Coolray and Emgrand. The Coolray now features a more powerful 1.5TD engine, redesigned exterior, and enhanced interior features. The Emgrand offers improved space, comfort, and handling, along with a new 1.5D engine and 6-speed automatic transmission.

To reduce downtime and ensure quick access to genuine parts, Geely has opened a new 4,700 sqm parts center in Cabuyao, Laguna. Open Monday to Saturday, it uses air express for urgent orders and land or sea transport for regular ones. The center stocks maintenance items, warranty parts, body repair materials, lubricants, accessories, tools, and more.

The company also launched the GEELY GO user initiative, connecting resources across sales, after-sales, and brand segments to optimize the ownership experience.

Geely announced special pre-sale discounts and rewards for the EX5, Coolray, and Emgrand. The EX5 pre-sale, running until March 31, offers a P10,000 discount.

Early Coolray buyers can enjoy discounts up to P90,000 by placing a P10,000 deposit before February 28, while Emgrand buyers can receive a P40,000 discount.

A Refer and Earn program offers maintenance vouchers for existing and new users. These offers underscore Geely’s ambition to recapture the hearts of Filipino car buyers.

To provide more user value to its customers, Geely has launched the Refer and Earn activity program where every time existing users introduce new users to Geely stores before March 31, both parties can receive a maintenance voucher worth P2,000. If the new user pays a downpayment for a new car, this maintenance voucher can be further increased by an additional P2,000.
