Samsung, in partnership with RUNRIO and supported by Tzu Chi Foundation, brought together over 16,000 runners across the Philippines for Galaxy Earth Day Run 2025.
The nationwide event championed sustainability and wellness, with participants running scenic routes in Manila, Cebu, and Davao.
In Metro Manila, runners passed iconic landmarks by the bay, while Cebu participants enjoyed coastal views at City Di Mare. In Davao, the lush pathways of Azuela Cove provided a verdant backdrop for the green-driven activity.
Miss Universe 2018 and environmental advocate Catriona Gray joined the festivities, inspiring runners with her ongoing mission to protect the planet.
With the theme “Run with Purpose,” Samsung emphasized environmental protection by implementing eco-friendly practices—minimizing plastic use through optimized water stations and using sustainable materials for event needs. Tzu Chi Foundation strengthened these efforts by leading waste management and recycling throughout the event.
Participants also had the chance to enhance their performance with the Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch 7. Built for endurance and style, both smartwatches offer wellness tracking features while incorporating sustainable materials, making them ideal companions for eco-conscious athletes.
