Ford Philippines has officially entered the full-electric vehicle segment with the launch of the all-new Mustang Mach-E, bringing the iconic pony car nameplate into the zero-emissions era.

Since its debut in 1964, the Mustang has symbolized freedom, performance, and individuality. The Mach-E carries this heritage forward, blending electric power, advanced driving tech, and signature Mustang design cues.

Ford is offering the Mustang Mach-E Premium AWD Extended Range variant locally. It’s powered by a dual permanent magnet synchronous motor driving all four wheels, delivering 389hp and 676Nm of torque.

The 88kWh extended-range lithium-ion NCM battery offers up to 550km of range (WLTP) and supports AC charging up to 11kW and DC fast charging up to 150kW—replenishing 10% to 80% in as little as 36 minutes.

Drivers can choose from Whisper, Engage, and Unbridle drive modes to fine-tune steering, throttle response, and handling. Meanwhile, the One-Pedal Drive system allows the driver to accelerate and decelerate using only the accelerator pedal. Lifting off the pedal activates regenerative braking, which slows the vehicle and recovers energy for the battery.

The Mach-E retains Mustang hallmarks such as the fastback silhouette and tri-bar tail lamps, complemented by modern touches like a panoramic glass roof, frameless grille, and 19-inch machine-finished wheels.

Conventional handles give way to the E-Latch system, a design that enhances both style and aerodynamics. When the driver approaches, a B-pillar button tap releases the door, nudging it open for access via a small aerodynamic hook. Rear passengers get in just as easily, thanks to a soft-touch release built into the frame.

Inside, perforated ActiveX synthetic leather seats, a 15.5-inch SYNC 4A touchscreen, 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto provide comfort and connectivity.

Owners can manage charging, climate control, and more through the FordPass app. Safety is bolstered by nine airbags, a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, BLIS, lane keeping, and collision mitigation.

The Mustang Mach-E is available at P3,499,000 and is offered in Glacier Grey, Star White, Shadow Black, Velocity Blue, and Grabber Yellow colors.

Upon purchase, customers will get a free 3.5kW portable charger and 7kW wall box charger.

The Mustang Mach-E will be sold in select Ford dealerships starting September that include Ford Alabang, Ford Balintawak, Ford Cebu, Ford EDSA, Ford Global City, Ford Libis and Ford Marikina.
