Casio has released the newest addition to its RANGEMAN series of timepieces: the ultra-rugged G-SHOCK RANGEMAN GPR-H1000. This is not just your regular timepiece; it’s your survival companion in the harshest natural environments.
Designed to deliver true value in survival settings—whether you’re trekking through dense forests or facing the challenges of hot, rainy jungles—the GPR-H1000 is your ultimate tough companion.
This dust- and mud-resistant timepiece is fully shock-resistant and water-resistant to 200 meters. Cylindrical stainless-steel parts shield the buttons while gasket fittings on the button shafts prevent mud and dust contamination. Sizeable metal components also safeguard the watch’s high-precision devices—such as the module, sensors, and GPS antenna—from drops and impacts.
Key resin components of the bezel, case, and band are made with bio-based resin, a material produced using renewable organic resources.
The band is crafted from soft urethane for a comfortable fit, and the same material is used underneath to reduce contact with the back of the hand for enhanced comfort.
The GPR-H1000 is equipped with a Triple Sensor that measures compass bearing, altitude/barometric pressure, and temperature, for optimal use by rangers and other professionals operating in the harshest land environments.
It also features an optical heart rate sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, and GPS to accurately track body movement, environmental changes, and provide real-time information on heart rate, blood oxygen level, and direction—even in challenging conditions.
The watch features an activity log memory and can track nine different activities, including trekking, running, biking, gym workout, interval timer, pool swimming, open water swimming, trail running, and walking.
Other features include Bluetooth smartphone link, wired USB charging, and solar-assisted charging.
The Casio G-SHOCK RANGEMAN GPR-H1000 is available in black (GPR-H1000-1) and yellow GPR-H1000-9) colorways for P25,000.
