Epson Precision Philippines Inc. (EPPI), the largest and pioneering locator in LIMA Estate, is celebrating 30 years of successful operations, underscoring its role in driving the Philippines’ emergence as a hub for high-value manufacturing in Asia.
Since establishing its operations in LIMA Estate in 1997, Epson has grown its Batangas facility into the company’s largest precision plant in Asia, occupying 33 hectares with three major factory buildings. It now employs over 20,000 people, assembling printers, scanners, and projectors for export to Japan and across Southeast Asia.
LIMA Estate is a 1,000-hectare PEZA-registered industrial hub developed by Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates. Home to 185 locators and 75,000 workers, it is the country’s first and largest district to earn a 5-Star BERDE-District certification from the Philippine Green Building Council.
