EastWest has introduced ECHO (EastWest CMS Help Officer), an AI-powered chatbot designed to help business owners quickly access information about the bank’s Cash Management Services.
The new virtual assistant provides business clients with on-demand guidance on cash management solutions, including collections, payments, payroll, and cash flow management. It can recommend services based on a business’s needs and connect users with an EastWest Sales Officer for more personalized assistance.
The launch comes as more micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) adopt digital tools to manage day-to-day operations. With businesses increasingly handling transactions online, demand has grown for banking solutions that simplify financial processes while improving accessibility and efficiency.
EastWest said ECHO aims to make it easier for entrepreneurs to navigate its Cash Management Services by delivering straightforward answers to common questions and helping businesses identify solutions that match their operational requirements.
The chatbot is part of the bank’s broader digitalization strategy, which focuses on expanding digital touchpoints and making banking services more accessible to businesses. Beyond answering inquiries, ECHO is designed to evolve over time through continuous updates to its knowledge base, enabling it to provide more relevant recommendations and support as customer needs change.
