Looking to clear out old sports equipment? You can trade in your pre-loved Decathlon gear for store vouchers during Decathlon’s Buyback Week, running from August 9 to 15, 2026.
The week-long initiative is available at participating Decathlon stores nationwide, including Decathlon Pasig (Tiendesitas), Decathlon Alabang, and Decathlon North EDSA. You can bring eligible equipment to a store, where Decathlon’s Circular Economy team will assess its condition and determine its buyback value.
The process starts with an online assessment through Decathlon’s website, where you can get an initial estimate of your item’s value. You can then bring the equipment to a participating store for a physical inspection. Once approved, the agreed value is loaded onto a Decathlon Gift Card, which you can use for future purchases.
Eligible items include Decathlon-branded bicycles, tents, fitness equipment, scooters, and other major sporting equipment. Products must have an original selling price of at least P1,500 and be fully functional and safe to use.
However, Decathlon will not accept non-Decathlon products, first-layer clothing and other items that directly touch the skin, safety equipment such as helmets and harnesses, battery- or electrically powered products, inflatable or consumable items, or gear that is dirty, damaged, rusty, modified, personalized, or missing essential parts.
The program is part of Decathlon’s circular-economy efforts. Accepted equipment can be refurbished and resold at a lower price, giving products a second life while offering customers an alternative to selling used gear through online marketplaces.
