Attention, Batman fans! Warner Bros. Discovery is celebrating The Caped Crusader’s 85th anniversary with a series of rotating mall activations and retail pop-ups at SM Malls. This grand celebration promises to delight fans of all ages, with a thematic interactive Batcave and exclusive merchandise.
Batman, created by Bob Kane with Bill Finger, first graced the pages of Detective Comics #27 in 1939. Over the past 85 years, the Dark Knight has evolved into a symbol of determination, courage, and justice. Unlike many superheroes, Batman’s prowess stems not from superpowers but from his intelligence, skill, and technical ingenuity. Bruce Wayne’s relentless pursuit of justice has made him an iconic figure, captivating the imaginations of fans through comics, TV shows, animated series, and blockbuster movies.
The Batman 85th Anniversary caravan is now up at SM North EDSA. Here’s what you can expect:0
- Bat Computer. The centerpiece of the activation, this towering 6-meter-tall Bat Computer offers an engaging glimpse into Batman’s key milestones.
- Batcave Vault. This zone houses iconic lairs that offer fans an interactive retail experience. Here, enthusiasts can purchase exclusive Batman merchandise to add to their collection.
- Garage and Training Zones. These areas complete the Batcave experience with a display of the legendary Batmobile. Fans can engage in interactive games designed to enhance their journey, and numerous photo-ops scattered throughout ensure that everyone can capture their heroic moments.
- Cosplay Encounters. Attendees will also have the chance to meet their favorite DC Super Heroes and villains from the Batman universe up close.
