Casio marks 50 years of watchmaking with a timepiece that’s as futuristic as it is stylish: the CRW-001 Ring Watch.
This sleek, full-metal digital timepiece combines style and functionality in a compact, ring-sized design.
Utilizing advanced metal injection molding (MIM) technology, Casio created a durable and intricately designed piece. The miniature module, about one-tenth the size of standard watch modules, powers a 7-segment LCD display showing hours, minutes, seconds, calendar data, dual time zones, and a stopwatch.
The CRW-001 features a distinctive time flash function, emitting a gentle light at preset intervals. Designed for everyday durability, it offers water resistance while maintaining a sleek, stylish look. The ring has an inner diameter of 20 mm (US size 10.5) and includes two spacers, allowing adjustments for sizes 16 and 19 to ensure a perfect fit for different users.
This release is a tribute to the iconic yubiwa (finger ring) pipe developed at Kashio Seisakujo, the predecessor of Casio Computer Co., Ltd.
