Beyond, a global Google Cloud engineering company, has officially entered the Philippine market, establishing a local presence to give organizations direct access to specialist engineering expertise and Google-first innovation.
The company marked its Philippine launch with an event at Blackbird in Nielson Tower, Makati, attended by around 150 guests from government, the diplomatic community, technology sector, academe, and media.
Beyond specializes in Google Cloud, with more than 75% of its workforce comprising hands-on technical specialists. Its capabilities span artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital commerce, with the company working with some of the world’s major brands.
The Philippines is home to exceptional engineering talent, and we see a real opportunity to build here for the long term,” said Alan Paton, Chief Executive Officer of Beyond. “Our aim is to give organisations across the country direct access to the engineering expertise and Google-first thinking that help them operate and compete more effectively.”
Founded in 2023, Beyond was created after CTS, a Google Cloud partner founded in Manchester, merged with Appsbroker to form Qodea. Following acquisitions that expanded its engineering, cybersecurity, and digital product capabilities, the company rebranded as Beyond.
Its Philippine operations are part of its Asia Pacific delivery organization, led by Geoff Newell, Delivery Centre Director for APAC.
Beyond said it plans to expand its local team and client base in the coming months as it grows its presence in the region.
