Sinulog season is officially in full swing as AweSM Cebu 2026 brings the fiesta spirit to life across SM City Cebu, SM Seaside City Cebu, and SM J Mall. Running throughout January, the multi-mall celebration turns everyday mall visits into a city-wide Sinulog gala—one that builds in energy, scale, and excitement.
At SM City Cebu, the celebration goes all out with festival spectacles, immersive displays, and star-studded events. Shoppers can explore Sinulogtopia with Islands Souvenirs from January 3 to 28, while the GLOW CITY: Sinulog Centerpiece lights up the North Wing Atrium from January 8 to 21. Crowd favorites follow with the AweSM Glow Dance Competition on January 17, Coco Martin Live on the same day, and the Kapuso Stars Mall Show on January 18.
SM Seaside City Cebu offers a more rooted and distinctly Cebuano experience. The Sto. Niño Exhibit anchors the spiritual side of Sinulog from January 8 to 28, complemented by local flavors at Nakakalokal Goes to SM Seaside (January 16 to 18) and the much-loved AweSM Lechon Fest (January 12 to 18). The Sinulog Kapamilya Caravan arrives on January 17, while pet lovers get their spotlight at AweSM Petstival on January 24.
Over at SM J Mall, Sinulog unfolds through art, fashion, and creativity with the Vested in Devotion: Cebu’s Fashion in Faith exhibit from January 9 to 31; Vested Devotion: Rhythms of Cebu on January 18; and Vested in Devotion: Runway Edition on January 31. Meanwhile, mall-goers can enjoy hands-on experiences through AweSM Mask Painting on January 10 at Kyureto Art Space
Shoppers can also ease into the season with the AweSM Cebu Sale 2026 from January 12 to 18 at participating stores across SM J Mall, SM City Cebu, and SM Seaside.
The festivities peak on January 18 with spectacular night shows: ILLUMINIGHT: Sinulog Drone & Pyro Show at SM City Cebu (7pm) and the AweSM Skypark Grand Pyro Display at SM Seaside City Cebu (9pm).
