ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG)’s latest series of gaming phones has landed in the Philippines.
The ROG Phone 7 series, which includes the ROG Phone 7 and ROG Phone 7 Ultimate, sports a new two-tone design and combines the game-winning power of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with the advanced GameCool 7 thermal system and special ROG tuning to deliver an outstanding mobile gaming experience.
The phones will have up to 16GB of RAM, up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage, and Wi-Fi 7.
To keep pace with the fastest action, both phones are equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 165Hz refresh rate, 720Hz touch-sampling rate, Delta E <1 color accuracy, and 1,500 nits max brightness.
Additionally, the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate features ROG Vision, a unique matrix color display on the rear of the phone that can showcase animations triggered by system events, such as charging status, incoming calls, X Mode activation, and more.
It also gets an AeroActive Portal, an air inlet that activates automatically when the AeroActive Cooler is attached, directing a constant flow of cool air from the cooler onto the cooling fins of the vapor chamber.
Other features include a 6000mAh battery with 65W fast charging, triple rear camera (50MP main + 13MP ultrawide + 5MP macro), 32MP selfie shooter, AirTrigger, and Android 13 w/ ROG UI.
