At Apple’s Wonderlust event, Apple unveiled the premium iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, designed with aerospace-grade titanium that’s strong yet lightweight.
The new design features contoured edges (goodbye, squared off sides!) and a customizable Action button that allows you to personalize your iPhone experience. This button—which replaces the single-function switch used to toggle between ring and silent—offers additional options so you can choose between quickly accessing the camera or flashlight; activating Voice Memos, Focus modes, Translate, and accessibility features like Magnifier; or using Shortcuts for more options.
Like last year’s Pro models, both the iPhone 15 Pro (6.1-inch) and iPhone 15 Pro Max (6.7-inch) models get 120Hz ProMotion OLED displays with a Dynamic Island.
Powering the iPhone 15 Pro series is Apple’s new A17 Pro processor, the industry’s first 3nm chip. The new processor comes with a 6-core CPU, 16-core Neural Engine, and 6-core GPU. With hardware-accelerated ray tracing, the iPhone 15 Pro phones offer smoother graphics, more immersive AR applications, and better gaming experiences.
The iPhone 15 Pro series comes with a triple camera system: a new 48MP main camera, 12MP telephoto (5x optical for Pro Max, 3x optical for Pro), and a 12MP ultrawide. There’s also a 12MP selfie (wide) shooter.
As expected, USB-C is also now on iPhone for faster data transfer speeds (up to 10Gbps) and charging.
iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will be available in four stunning new finishes: black titanium, white titanium, blue titanium, and natural titanium.
