At CES 2024, Samsung shared its vision for how artificial intelligence (AI) technology will enable people to experience their devices more intuitively and conveniently than ever before.

Jonathan Gabrio, Head of Connected Experience Center at Samsung Electronics America, outlined the ways in which AI is transforming how visual display products and digital appliances are used.

For instance, the Samsung Neo QLED 8K QN900D comes with an advanced AI processor called NQ8 AI Gen 3 that has an eight times greater AI neural network and a two times faster NPU compared to its predecessor. With the NQ8 AI Gen3 processor, the TV automatically upscales lower-resolution content to deliver a high-quality 8K viewing experience and enhances fast-moving images through AI Motion Enhancer Pro.

Active Voice Amplifier Pro uses AI to analyze voice and background noise, separating voices from mixed audio. This enhances voice input, making it easy for users to follow on-screen conversations at any volume.

For viewers with different needs, Samsung offers innovative accessibility features. A sign language feature on Samsung Neo QLED can be controlled through gestures for the hearing impaired. Additionally, the Audio Subtitle feature converts text subtitles into spoken words in real-time for individuals with low vision.

Samsung also unveiled the new The Premiere 8K, a projector that features a 150-inch display with wireless 8K transmission, as well as the Music Frame, a speaker with a customizable cover that integrates seamlessly into users’ homes.
