ACMobility, Ayala’s mobility solutions arm and a leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure in the Philippines, has partnered with Shell Pilipinas Corporation to roll out new charging stations nationwide.

The move advances ACMobility’s goal of deploying more than 2,500 charging points while strengthening the Philippine EV Spine, the country’s first nationwide EV charging backbone.

The Philippine EV Spine is designed to support seamless long-distance travel across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. By leveraging Shell’s extensive network of service stations, ACMobility aims to accelerate the rollout, easing range anxiety and giving EV owners greater confidence and convenience on the road.

The initial rollout of ACMobiity charging stations will take place at 50 Shell service stations nationwide, with over 100 charging points to be installed. The first 20 sites are slated for installation in the last quarter of 2025, followed by 30 more in 2026. Each site will feature DC fast chargers ranging from 60kW to 120kW.

Once operational, drivers can locate, monitor, and pay for charging sessions via the Evro app, operated by ACMobility’s partner Evro. The app also integrates with Shell Recharge, further enhancing accessibility.
