Acer is marking a milestone year with the 10th anniversary of Acer Day and its 50th year as a technology company. In the Philippines, the celebrations took center stage at the Araneta Coliseum, where thousands of fans gathered for a night of music and entertainment.
More than 8,500 fans gathered at the Quezon City venue for the celebration, which featured Acer ambassadors SB19 as headliners alongside 6cyclemind, Hey June!, El Manu, Jessy Kang, Dionela, Fitterkarma, and Earl Agustin.
Janine Berdin and Jose Mari Chan also made surprise appearances, with Chan performing his holiday classic “Christmas in Our Hearts.” Luis Manzano served as host.
Carrying the theme #ShiftTheGame, Acer Day 2026 encouraged young Filipinos to step outside their comfort zones, take ownership of their future, and find new approaches to culture, work, and play.
The celebration also highlighted Acer’s growing presence beyond computing, with fitness activities incorporated into this year’s festivities. The company has expanded into lifestyle products through its Acerpure home appliances and Acer luggage lineup.
“Acer is constantly evolving to stay relevant to what our customers are passionate about, and that’s reflected in how Acer Day has grown to include both music and fitness,” said Sue Ong-Lim, Managing Director of Acer Philippines. “As we mark 50 years as a brand and 10 years of Acer Day, we wanted this celebration to be bigger and more meaningful than ever.”
Acer Day 2026 began on August 1 with the Acer Electric AI Night Run. The festivities will conclude on September 13 with the Music Run, billed as “Asia’s Fittest Party,” at the SM Mall of Asia Complex.
