Over five consecutive Saturdays, the 13th Philippine International Pyromusical Competition (PIPC) transformed SM Mall of Asia into a hub of energy and spectacle. Week after week, crowds showed up early, hung around late, and turned Seaside Boulevard into a bustling gathering spot for families, friends, and visitors.
This year’s competition featured some of the world’s top pyrotechnic teams, with entries from France, Italy, Portugal, the United Kingdom, China, Canada, Germany, and Spain. Each country brought its own creative style, with fireworks carefully paired with chosen music to create performances that felt both personal and spectacular.

The Philippines, represented by Platinum Fireworks, delivered exhibition shows that opened and closed the event.
The United Kingdom’s Pyrotex Fireworx emerged as champion, impressing judges and spectators alike with a display defined by precision, timing, and crowd impact.
China’s Polaris Fireworks secured 1st runner up with a vibrant, fast-paced routine, while Germany’s Steffes-Ollig Feuerwerke placed 2nd runner up for its clean and tightly choreographed performance
