SM Mall of Asia, in partnership with SM Development Corporation (SMDC) and Suzuki, delivered a dazzling Valentine’s weekend spectacle, as it hosted the first of five weekends of the 12th Philippine International Pyromusical Competition (PIPC) last February 16.

The evening began with a vibrant fireworks exhibition by Platinum Fireworks Inc., which set the stage for a romantic and exciting night.  

Adding to the enchanting atmosphere was Filipino band Lola Amour, who serenaded the crowd with their soulful melodies.

The highlight of the night was the exhibition by Team Austria’s steyrFire Feuerwerke, the first competitor in the 12th PIPC.

The PIPC, a showdown of pyromusical champions, will continue over the next four Saturdays, from February 22 to March 15. Upcoming performances include France’s Luxfactory Fireworks and China’s Polaris Fireworks, Co. LTD on February 22, followed by USA’s Rozzi Fireworks and Germany’s Steffes-Ollig Feurwerke on March 1.

South Korea’s Fassecom and United Kingdom’s Pyrotex Firework will take the stage on March 8, while Canada’s Royal Pyrotechnie will close the competition on March 15, with a final exhibition by Platinum Fireworks Inc.

Tickets for the upcoming shows are available through SM Tickets and at official PIPC ticket booths at SM MOA, with varying prices for Patron (with dinner, P3,000), VIP (P1,000), Gold (P600), and Silver (P250) sections.
