Raise your glass to the holidays!
Celebrating Christmas with family and friends? A bottle of wine is always going to be a hit for a holiday gathering—and Yellow Tail wine, Australia’s famous original kangaroo label, has just has what you need. Choose from the classics, such as Chardonnay, Merlot, Shiraz, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Or you can opt for the Bubbles sparkling wine range or the ever-popular Pink Moscato, one of the bestselling wines in the country.
But if you want to spice things up with something new, then you might want to check out Yellow Tail’s latest offerings: the Pure Bright low calorie range and the slightly more premium Whiskey Barrel range.
The Pure Bright range is a lower calorie, lower alcohol wine made with proprietary blending techniques and gentle reverse osmosis to reduce alcohol content and calories while maintaining all of the original flavor.
The Pure Bright range has only 8%-9.5% alcohol and 80-85 calories on its white wines, and 10.8% alcohol and 100 calories for its lone red wine, the Pure Bright Pinot Noir. This is 25% less alcohol content and roughly 40% lower calories versus regular wines. Pure Bright is also vegan-friendly and gluten-free.
In the Philippines, the Pinot Grigio is the first varietal of the Yellow Tail Pure Bright range. It is refreshing and vibrant, bursting with apple, pear, and passionfruit flavors. It’s priced at P495 per bottle.
Meanwhile, the Whiskey Barrel Aged range has bigger and bolder flavors. The first wine released from this range is the Yellow Tail Whiskey Barrel Aged Cabernet Sauvignon, which is aged for 30 days in Australian whiskey barrels to add an elegance and velvety structure to the wine. Another wine from the range is the Whiskey Barrel Aged Red Blend.
In the Philippines, the Yellow Tail Whiskey Barrel Aged Cabernet Sauvignon is available with a suggested retail price of P595/bottle.
