Yamaha Motor Philippines (YMPH) roared back into the record books on July 13, reclaiming two Guinness World Records titles together with over 3,300 Yamaha Club members.
This achievement marks a triumphant return for YMPH, a decade after it secured three world record titles: The Largest Parade of Yamaha Motorcycles, The Most Motorcycle Horns Sounded Simultaneously, and The Most Engines Started Simultaneously.
In a special event held at Ayala Malls Manila Bay, the local wing of the Japanese motorcycle brand was able to shatter the record for most engines started simultaneously with 3,311 motorcycles, surpassing the most recent holder with only 3,184 multi-brand motorcycles.
It also broke the record of most motorcycle horns sounded simultaneously, with 3,297 motorcycles versus the 3,177 previous record.
Despite not breaking the record for the largest number of Yamaha motorcycles in a parade, YMPH continues to hold the title with a total number of 1,208 participants, which it set in 2014.
