Watsons Philippines continues to champion community health through its Alagang Pangkalusugan Medical Mission, which made its fourth stop this year in Mandaluyong City on April 29.
Held at the Mandaluyong College of Science & Technology, the mission provided free medical services to 726 beneficiaries from various barangays in Mandaluyong and nearby areas.
Services included consultations for adults and children, diagnostic procedures such as ECG and X-rays, tooth extractions, hair and skin analysis, and laboratory tests for blood sugar, cholesterol, and uric acid. Bone screening was also offered to ensure a well-rounded health assessment.
The successful mission was made possible through the strong support of the Mandaluyong local government, the City Health Board, and Watsons’ partner brands. A dedicated team of 30 Watsons personnel, including 20 from local partner stores in the vicinity and 10 from the head office, generously volunteered their time and effort.
This latest outreach brings the total number of beneficiaries for 2025 to 3,311, with previous missions held in Camarines Sur, Benguet, and Cebu. Watsons Philippines affirms its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitment through the Alagang Pangkalusugan program, which has been serving communities nationwide since 2013.
More medical missions are scheduled throughout the year as Watsons continues its mission to bring quality healthcare closer to Filipinos across the country.
