Paramount Pictures has dropped the official trailer for the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem movie—and we now see more action, more characters, and more of the film’s distinct visual style that we first saw in the teaser trailer released last March.
After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers—Donatello (Micah Abbey), Michaelangelo (Shamon Brown Jr.), Leonardo (Nicolas Cantu) and Raphael (Brady Noon) venture out from the sewers in order to make their way in the world as normal teenagers. Their new friend April O’Neil (Ayo Edebiri) helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.
The ensemble voice cast also includes Jackie Chan (Splinter), John Cena (Rocksteady), Seth Rogen (Bebop), Hannibal Buress (Genghis Frog), Rose Byrne (Leatherhead), Ice Cube (Superfly), Natasia Demetriou (Wingnut), Giancarlo Esposito (Baxter Stockman), Post Malone (Ray Fillet), Paul Rudd (Mondo Gecko), and Maya Rudolph (Cynthia Utrom).
The film is directed by Jeff Rowe and produced by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and James Weaver.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is distributed in the Philippines by Paramount Pictures through Columbia Pictures. It opens across Philippine cinemas August 23.
