WAGI financial literacy app, which was launched to the media last July, is now officially available for download on Google Play.
WAGI, which stands for “Wealth Advice for Growth and Inclusion,” is an app that makes financial education accessible, fun, and rewarding for everyone.
It offers a comprehensive library of financial topics relevant to Filipinos’ daily lives. Users can learn everything from basic budgeting to stock investing through engaging and practical modules. WAGI even features quick finance tips from successful personalities and celebrities, making financial knowledge relatable and easy to understand.
Each course starts with a pre-quiz to assess user familiarity and ends with a post-assessment quiz to measure knowledge retention. Lastly, users will also be able download a certification for each module.
As if all those aren’t rewarding enough, WAGI makes learning more exciting with a rewards system where users earn points for completing quizzes. These points can be redeemed for prizes at partner brands, including well-known fast food chains.
WAGI is powered by WeFund Lending Corporation, the company behind fintech app JuanHand. The app is also backed by the Securities and Exchange Commission, Credit Information Corporation, National Privacy Commission, and the National Development Corporation.
