Aside from the X Fold, vivo also unveiled during its April 11 event its answer to the current Galaxy Ultra flagship and Samsung’s now-discontinued Galaxy Note line.

The vivo X Note packs a huge 7-inch E5 AMOLED screen with QHD+ resolution, 21:10 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz touch sampling rate. It promises a peak brightness of 1,500 nits and 112% DCI-P3 coverage. The display—protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus—features a large ultrasonic fingerprint reader that’s big enough to read two fingers at the same time.

The X Note is available in three colors—black, blue, and gray—all with leather texture with faux stitching on the back panel. Also found on the back is a full-width black camera panel similar tot he vivo X70 Pro.

The quad-camera setup is composed of a 50MP Samsung GN1 sensor with OIS, ZEISS T* lens coating, and V1 chip; a 48MP Sony IMX598 114-degree ultra-wide-angle camera; a 12MP Sony IMX663 with 2x optical zoom; and an 8MP periscope camera with OIS and 5x optical zoom. In front is a 16MP f/2.45 sensor.

The vivo X Note is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip and comes with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.

Its 5000mAh battery supports USB-C 80W fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.

Pricing in China starts at CN 5,999 or about $942 in current forex rates for the 8GB + 256GB variant.

There is no word yet if this will be launched locally.
