Twitter mixed media

Sometimes, posting a photo just doesn’t cut it. If you find yourself wishing that you can include a video or GIF to the photo you’re about to tweet, then you’d be glad to know you now can do so.

In a blog post, Twitter said you can use a combination of up to four GIFs, photos, and/or videos per tweet. Twitter had been slowly rolling out this feature to a small group of users since July.

To add mixed media on a single tweet, all you have to do is tap the Media or GIF icons and select the content you want to share.

The update is now available on the Twitter app on iOS and Android. It has not been extended to Windows and Mac as of press time.
