Suzuki’s neo-retro street bikes are officially award winners. The Suzuki GSX-8T and GSX-8TT have secured the Product Design Award at the globally recognized Red Dot Design Award—marking Suzuki Motor Corporation’s first win in the prestigious competition.
Established in 1955, the Red Dot Design Award recognizes outstanding product design across multiple industries, from automotive and tech to furniture and healthcare. Entries are judged on innovation, functionality, ergonomics, durability, sustainability, and emotional impact.
The GSX-8T and GSX-8TT stood out for bringing Suzuki’s heritage-inspired styling into a more refined and contemporary form. The motorcycles combine retro character with modern engineering, showing how Suzuki continues to evolve its iconic design DNA for today’s riders.
Suzuki says the motorcycles were created to appeal to riders across different lifestyles by combining nostalgic styling cues with versatile real-world performance.
