Suzuki Philippines Inc. and ride-hailing platform Angkas have forged a strategic partnership aimed at improving the lives of Filipino riders.
During the launch at the Angkas Tagumpay Center in Cainta, Rizal, 15 selected Angkas riders were introduced to Suzuki’s reliable and fuel-efficient motorcycles: the Suzuki Burgman Street EX, Avenis, and Smash models.
“We are thrilled to partner with Angkas, a company that shares our commitment to improve the lives of Filipinos,” said Johnny De Guzman, Field Marketing Group Head at Suzuki Philippines. “By providing our reliable motorcycles to Angkas riders, we hope to contribute to their success and help them earn a better living.”

The partnership between Suzuki Philippines and Angkas aims to enhance the rider experience by providing more comfortable and efficient Suzuki motorcycles, leading to better passenger satisfaction and higher earnings.
The fuel efficiency of these motorcycles also helps riders save on fuel costs, thus boosting their income.
Additionally, Suzuki’s safety features promote road safety and protect riders on the road.
This collaboration is also expected to support the local motorcycle industry and contribute to the country’s economic growth.

To kick off the partnership, 15 selected Angkas riders were given the opportunity to experience Suzuki motorcycles firsthand. For a month, these riders will be using Burgman Street EX and Smash loaner units for their daily rides.
The next batch of motorcycles will see around 20 units of Suzuki Avenis.
