SM SuperMoms Club wraps up nationwide meetups with focus on mental health

SM Supermalls’ SuperMoms Club culminated its series of Wellness Meetups with a gathering at SM City Fairview on August 3.

Hundreds of SuperMoms came together for an afternoon filled with informative sessions, heartwarming moments, and exciting prizes.

SuperMoms spent an afternoon with VIP SuperMom Chariz Solomon, who shared her relatable and humorous motherhood experiences in her signature “Balitang Ina” style.

The special gathering, which celebrated the fifth #SuperMomsClubMeetup event held this year, was hosted by SuperMombassador Alexine Sy and featured a mental health wellness panel discussion.

The panel, moderated by SM Supermalls Vice President for Corporate Marketing Grace F. Magno, included Philippine Psychiatric Association Inc. (PPA) Vice President Dr. Joan Mae Perez-Rifareal, Philippine Psychiatric Association Inc. (PPA) National Executive Director Dr. Carolina Uno-Rayco, author and single SuperMom Tinette Cortes, and momfluencer Patricia Mae Parian.

The panelists shared insights and personal experiences on motherhood and handling its challenges with grace, while providing SuperMoms with essential tools and knowledge to support their mental well-being.

Carla Perlas, Vice President of Communications for community partner theAsianparent, provided an insightful discussion on the state of maternal mental health in the Philippines.

SuperMoms were treated to an energizing dance performance by the National University (Fairview) Cameo and participated in exciting raffle draws with prizes courtesy of SM Game Park, Snailwhite, Goldilocks, Unilab, Lumi Candles, Watsons, Zen Zest, Mini Centro, and SMAC.

The SM City Fairview meetup marks the successful conclusion of the SuperMoms Club’s Meetup series this year. Similar gatherings were previously held at SM City Santa Rosa (July 6), SM City Telabastagan (July 13), SM City Davao (July 20), and SM Seaside City Cebu (July 27), all featuring beloved VIP SuperMoms such as Winwyn Marquez, Bettinna Carlos-Eduardo, Andrea Taylor, Jehza Huelar, and Vern Enciso-Lim.
