A year after introducing the 19-inch Optimus Prime Auto-Converting Programmable Advanced Robot, Hasbro and Robosen have launched a companion Trailer and Roller set with equally cool auto-conversion features. The price? A cool $750.

Modeled after the original G1 design, the trailer measures three feet in length, fully extended. It can open up, transform, and reveal its own miniature Roller vehicle and human sidekick Spike.

It can tilt vertically into a nearly flat rectangular shield, complete with an integrated, articulating sentry blaster.

The trailer’s rear swing doors can be opened with a voice command. Meanwhile, you can control the truck and Roller using an app. This trailer and roller set uses 18 of Robosen’s proprietary servo motors and 60 microchips, with over 2,000 components in total.

Pre-orders are now open for the $750 Trailer and Roller Set, and units are estimated to ship around November 2022. The package includes a protective storage case with handle for easy transportation, along with a limited edition collectible pack that includes an individualized serial number, Autobot magnetic car badge, metal challenge coin, and sticker pack.
