The Quezon City government and express logistics company Ninja Van Philippines have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to extend vital support to the city’s local businesses, particularly those in e-commerce.

The partnership, formalized by Mayor Joy Belmonte and Ninja Van Philippines representatives Jose Alvin Perez (country head) and Sabina Lopez-Vergara (chief commercial officer for PH and regional head of marketing), aims to leverage technology and innovation to improve services for Quezon City residents.

The MOU will see Ninja Van and the city’s Small Businesses and Cooperatives Development Promotions Office (SBCDPO) collaborate on programs to enhance the capabilities of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs)

“The Quezon City government recognizes the transformative power of interconnectivity and technology as drivers of a responsive government,” Belmonte said.

“We are excited to work with Ninja Van Philippines to harness technology and innovation to serve our constituents better,” she added.

Perez, for his part, said the company looks forward to working with the local government to make it even more inclusive and business-friendly.

“Ninja Van recognizes the significant role of reliable and efficient logistics in nation-building. We are proud to have found a partner in the Quezon City government who shares the same commitment to empowering local businesses,” Perez said.

Under the MOU, Ninja Van will provide its expertise in e-commerce and logistics to help MSMEs in Quezon City. The company’s comprehensive logistics solutions, including Ninja Fulfillment and Ninja Restock, aim to reduce operational costs and improve efficiency for businesses.
