PIXEL Academy, the workshop series for content creators spearheaded by local fintech company Eplayment, recently kicked off its first class with creative powerhouse Dani Rogacion, CEO of Overdrive Studios, leading the charge.

Rogacion’s workshop, “Designing for Impact,” emphasized the crucial role of visuals in content creation and branding. Over the course of four hours, participants gained hands-on experience in building mood boards—a tool used to visually align creative ideas and shape a cohesive content identity.

The workshop also encouraged creators to express their unique style and vision, fostering deeper creative connections and collaborative energy within the group.

PIXEL Academy goes beyond technical skills, striving to be a dynamic collaborative space where creators connect, share ideas, and grow together. “PIXEL is more than just upskilling,” the organizers said. “It’s about building a vibrant community of passionate, like-minded individuals.”

Following the success of its debut, PIXEL Academy is set to return on June 7, with “Co-Creating for Value,” a session focused on brand collaboration. The upcoming class will be led by Mary Reyes, director of creator relations and brand growth at Tier One, and Denis De Chavez, a geek culture and lifestyle creator known for collaborations with brands such as Netflix, Disney, and Warner Bros.

While all slots for this session have been filled, another class is coming soon—so stay tuned for announcements on Eplayment’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
