Netflix has dropped the first teaser for One Piece Season 2, officially titled One Piece: Into the Grand Line—and it’s already hinting at much bigger dangers ahead for Luffy and the Straw Hat crew.
The teaser introduces Baroque Works, a shadowy and ruthless secret society of assassins that will serve as one of the season’s major threats. It’s a clear sign that Season 2 is raising the stakes as the crew finally sets sail for the Grand Line, the legendary stretch of sea where the world’s weirdest islands, strongest enemies, and biggest adventures collide.
Based on Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece—Japan’s bestselling manga of all time with over 500 million copies sold worldwide—the live-action series returns with fiercer battles and riskier quests as the Straw Hats continue their search for the ultimate treasure. The Grand Line promises nonstop danger and wonder, and the teaser makes it clear that survival won’t come easy.
Netflix also revealed a wave of new cast members joining the adventure. Charithra Chandran steps in as Miss Wednesday, while Lera Abova plays the mysterious Miss All-Sunday. David Dastmalchian joins as Mr. 3, alongside Camrus Johnson as Mr. 5 and Jazzara Jaslyn as Miss Valentine. Daniel Lasker will appear as Mr. 9, with Sophia Anne Caruso rounding out the group as Miss Goldenweek.
