La Salle Greenhills (LSGH) has launched AnimoExpress, a point-to-point (P2P) shuttle service developed in partnership with Ortigas Commercial Corporation (OCC), to improve student mobility and safety while addressing traffic congestion along Ortigas Avenue.
The initiative introduces designated loading and unloading bays, along with dedicated student waiting areas called “Think Space” in Tiendesitas and Promenade. These safe zones provide comfortable spaces for students to wait for their rides away from busy roads.
The collaboration, formalized through a Memorandum of Agreement signed on October 17 at LSGH, outlines shared responsibilities for operations, supervision, and safety. The agreement runs from October 1, 2025, to April 30, 2026, with options for renewal.
Traffic along Ortigas Avenue has long been a concern for motorists, particularly during school opening and dismissal hours, when vehicles queue near LSGH’s gates. By rerouting student pick-ups and drop-offs through AnimoExpress, the school and OCC hope to reduce congestion, improve travel flow, and ensure a more secure commuting experience for students and families alike.
