Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) introduced the updated D-MAX and mu-X in a festive summer musical event at Alabang Town Center held last April 21 to 23.
At the Isuzu Summer Music Festival, IPC displayed its new Isuzu D-MAX and mu-X and held free test drives, afternoon games, a dog show,a car club meet-up, and live performances from OPM artists.
The new Isuzu D-MAX is now made sportier and more dynamic with a redesigned exterior that boasts a two-tone front grille, 18-inch alloy wheels finished in dark matte gray, and a new color option called Islay Gray.
Meanwhile, the new mu-X was also displayed alongside the D-MAX. The SUV’s fresh new look is courtesy of its sleek two-tone front grille and 20-inch alloy wheel design. The mu-X also has a new color variant, Norwegian Blue, which is available for LS-E variants.
Running on Isuzu’s Blue Power technology, both the D-MAX and mu-X are powered by the 4JJ3-TCX diesel engine that optimizes performance with fuel efficiency.
Both models have also been awarded with 5-Star Safety by the ASEAN NCAP, thanks to the vehicles’ active and passive safety features. The Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS) with Smart Duo Cam is loaded with safety tech such as blind spot monitoring, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, turn assist, and adaptive cruise control with stop & go functionality.
