Instagram may soon let you pin posts to the top of your profile

Just like Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok, Instagram may soon let you pin specific posts to the top of your profile.

“We’re testing a new feature that lets people feature posts on their profile,” a spokesperson from Meta told TechCrunch in an email.

Currently, Instagram allows you to pin your Stories on your profile by adding them as story highlights so that they may live on after it expires on your feed.

With this new feature, you may soon pin specific posts on your Instagram profile above your photo grid, allowing you to highlight specific posts you’d want to showcase.

Meta confirmed to TechCrunch that the new feature is in the testing phase and is showing up for select users on the platform. Users who have access to the feature are seeing a “Pin to your profile” option that can be selected from the three dot menu next to posts.
