The Department of Trade and Industry-Bureau of Marketing and Development Promotions Office (DTI-BMDPO), in partnership with key government agencies, is holding the inaugural COCONUTPhilippines Trade Fair (CTF) from December 2 to 4 at Megatrade Hall 1, SM Megamall.
The event is part of the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan (CFIDP) under the Coconut Farmers and Industry Trust Fund Act (RA 11524), a government initiative aimed at empowering coconut farmers, reducing poverty, and driving the sustainable growth of the Philippine coconut industry.
The trade fair will spotlight the immense potential of Philippine coconut products and foster collaborations among farmers, MSMEs, buyers, and stakeholders.
Highlights include product showcases, business matching, direct selling, and the unveiling of the COCONUTPhilippines brand and COCOMania mascots.
The event is supported by 14 government agencies, including the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA), Department of Agriculture (DA), and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). Together, they aim to enhance market access, develop innovative products, and improve infrastructure for coconut farmers.
The COCONUTPhilippines Trade Fair is free and open to the public. Drop by Megatrade Hall 1, SM Megamall from December 2 to 4 to explore a wide range of food and non-food coconut products from across the country.
