Subscribers of Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) got to “unbox the future” during the midnight launch of the iPhone 16 Series, held recentlyat the Smart Store in SM Megamall.
The event featured special appearances by actress Kyline Alcantara and basketball player Kobe Paras, both eager to try out the new features of Apple’s latest device.
The basketball star was particularly excited to try the iPhone 16’s new camera settings. “I love taking pictures, so I decided to see how clear and how improved the camera is,” he shared.
The new flagship iPhones can now capture more moments than its predecessors because of its advanced Photographic Styles, Camera Control, and Zero Shutter Lag.
Kyline, meanwhile, is a fan of iPhone 16 series’ battery life. “I always forget to charge my phone so having a long battery life will be helpful for me,” she said.
According to Apple, each iPhone 16 model will charge to around 50 percent in just under 30 minutes.
To celebrate the launch, Smart rewarded the first 16 customers who availed of the new iPhone 16 with P3,000 in vouchers and accessories.
Launch attendees enjoyed live music and games, as well as a raffle draw where 16 iPads were given away. Customers were also encouraged to donate their old devices for recycling at the in-store bin.
