As part of its effort to build a complete Smart Office ecosystem, Huawei has added two new devices to its growing laptop family.
The Huawei MateBook 16s and MateBook D 16 will be available for pre-order in the Philippines starting July 29.
Huawei MateBook 16s
The MateBook 16s comes with a 16-inch display with a 3:2 aspect ratio and packs a 2.5K resolution. It’s fitted with a 12th-gen Intel Core i7-12700H chipset with Intel Iris X graphics, 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 1TB of NVme PCIe SSD storage.
It also has a large 86Wh battery and 135W fast-charging tech.
Other features include a generously spaced keyboard, a large glass trackpad, stereo speakers, a fingerprint power button, and a 1080p webcam on the top bezel (instead of hidden in the laptop’s keys).
MateBook D 16
Like the MateBook 16s, the mid-range MateBook D 16 comes with a 16-inch display. However, instead of a 2.5K resolution/3:2 aspect ratio, the panel on the D 16 has a 1,920 x 1,200 resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio.
The D 16 is powered by a 12th-gen Intel Core i7-12700H or i5-12450H, paired with a 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD.
It comes with a full-size QWERTY keyboard with a number pad, a large glass trackpad, and a 1080p webcam on the top bezel.
