HONOR made a huge statement at the ongoing MWC 2023 in Barcelona with the launch of not just its foldable Magic Vs phone but also the HONOR Magic5 Pro—the new DxOMark king for camera performance with a score of 152 and the DxOMark champ for display quality with a score of 151.

The Magic5 Pro features a triple rear camera system composed of a 50MP main wide camera, 50MP ultrawide, and 50MP telephoto. According to DxOMark, the Magic5 Pro has “outstanding photo results across all light levels” and performed particularly well in the company’s Friends and Family scenario, owing to its fast shutter speeds, excellent detail, and low noise levels.

Meanwhile, the phone also topped the ranking for its 6.81-inch 120Hz LTPO display. DxOMark says the display provided good readability under various lighting conditions, had good picture rendering in indoor conditions, and was smooth, reactive, accurate, and flicker-free.

The Magic5 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and comes with 12GB RAM, 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, and a 5100mAh battery with USB-C 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It runs the latest MagicOS 7.1 based on Android 13.

The Magic5 Pro is priced at €1,199.
