HONOR has added a new gaming-oriented smartphone in its 80 series: the HONOR 80 GT.

This phone slots in between the HONOR 80 Pro and the HONOR 80, and like the Pro version, comes with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. It comes in two configurations: a 12GB RAM + 256GB storage version and a 16GB RAM + 256GB storage variant.

The HONOR 80 GT sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED display (2400 x 1080) with a 120 Hz refresh rate and support for 1.07 billion colors and a DCI-P3 wide color gamut.

For optics, this phone comes with a triple rear camera system (54MP primary camera, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro) with an LED flash. In front is a 16MP f/2.4 selfie shooter.

The 80 GT also features an in-display fingerprint scanner, Android 12-based MagicOS 7, and a 4800mAh battery with 66W wired fast charging.

The HONOR 80 GT 12GB + 256GB will be available in China this January for ¥3,299, while the 16GB + 256GB variant will retail for ¥3,599. There’s no word yet on international or Philippine pricing and availability.
