
Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) recently concluded the second run of the Hyundai Service and Parts Skills Championship, highlighting the exceptional talents of its service technicians and parts personnel.
The competition brought together 37 participants—27 from the Service Division and 10 from the Parts Division—representing Hyundai dealerships nationwide.
The Service Division, which evaluates candidates through theoretical and practical assessments, identified the country’s top technician who will compete in the 15th World Skills Olympics (WSO) in South Korea.
Meanwhile, the newly introduced Parts Division tested participants on knowledge and expertise in an elimination and final round format.

Japhet Almendras from Hyundai Batangas City, was awarded as the overall winner for Service, completing each category with the highest score. He has been servicing clients at the dealership since 2019.
Meanwhile, Mary Rose Hermoso of Hyundai Manila Bay received the highest score for the Parts Division.
