Aside from the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, Google also introduced three candybar form factor phones—the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL—all powered by the brand new Google Tensor G4 chip.
The Pixel 9 comes with a 6.3-inch Actua OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2424, a dynamic refresh rate ranging from 60Hz to 120Hz, and reaches a peak brightness of 2700nits. Both front and back panels are protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
It’s equipped with a 50MP main sensor and a 48MP ultrawide camera for versatile shooting options. On the front, a 10.5-megapixel selfie camera supports 4K video recording at 60fps.
The device is powered by a 4700mAh battery, which supports fast charging, reaching 55% in just 30 minutes, as well as fast wireless charging and Battery Share capabilities.
Moving up the series, there’s the Pixel 9 Pro that comes with a 6.3-inch Super Actua display and a higher resolution at 1280 x 2856. It uses an LTPO panel, and has a 120Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 3000nits.
It shares the same 4700mAh battery as the Pixel 9.
The biggest of the bunch is the Pixel 9 Pro XL with a 6.8-inch Super Actua display with a 1344 x 2992 LTPO OLED panel. Like the Pixel 9 Pro, it has a 1-120Hz refresh rate and up to 3000nits brightness.
It comes with a bigger 5060mAh battery that supports up to 37W fast charging.
Both the Pixel 9 Pro and Pro XL feature a triple camera setup, including a 50MP wide sensor, a 48MP ultrawide, and a 48MP telephoto lens capable of 5x optical zoom and 30x Super Res Zoom. For selfies, a 42MP front camera is included.
