Doing some serious diving but also want a stylish smartwatch? Garmin might just have the answer with the new Descent G2, a rugged, watch-style dive computer designed to support a wide range of underwater activities—from technical diving to freediving—while also doubling as a powerful smartwatch for daily wear.
Engineered for versatility and durability, the Descent G2 features a 1.2-inch AMOLED display, a 100-meter dive-rated case, leak-proof buttons, and a sapphire lens. Its eco-friendly design uses 100% recycled ocean-bound plastics for the housing, bezel, and buttons.

The watch is equipped with multiple dive modes, an in-dive 3-axis compass, freedive training tools, and a “dive readiness” score that evaluates sleep, stress, and exercise to help divers assess their physical preparedness.
Above the surface, the Descent G2 functions as a powerful fitness and health tracker, featuring 24/7 heart rate monitoring, advanced sleep tracking, VO2 max, and smartphone connectivity. It boasts up to 10 days of battery life in smartwatch mode and comes in two colorways—black (with black band) and paloma (with shell pink band)—with support for interchangeable QuickFit bands.
The Garmin Descent G2 is now available via the official Garmin PH website and authorized online stores such as Kinetic, Lazada, and Shopee. It retails for P45,490.
