Get ready to hit the ground running for a cause. Samsung and Runrio are teaming up once again for Galaxy Earth Day Run to celebrate Earth Day.
In partnership with the Tzu Chi Foundation Philippines, this year’s run aims to amplify environmental consciousness in a festive atmosphere across three major cities on April 27. The Manila leg will take place at the SM Mall of Asia Complex, the Cebu leg at City Di Mare, and the Davao leg at Azuela Cove.
With the theme “Run with Purpose,” the event serves as a call to action, reminding everyone that every step forward is a step toward a more sustainable future.
The Galaxy Earth Day Run 2025 is designed to boost awareness about environmental protection and advocate for the importance of resource conservation and carbon footprint reduction.
The event will actively implement waste reduction strategies, including optimized water distribution to minimize plastic bottle usage and the use of eco-friendly materials for all event materials.
The collaboration with Tzu Chi Foundation Philippines further strengthens this commitment, with the foundation spearheading waste management and recycling efforts throughout the event.
The run offers three race categories: 5K, 10K, and 21K. About 16,000 runners have already registered for the race as of press time. Further details and registration information can be found here.
This year’s event is proudly powered by Samsung, underscoring its ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility and innovation. Participants can enhance their running experience and track their progress with the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch 7, the ideal companion for runners who care about both their personal fitness and the planet.
