Built with both sustainability and longevity in mind, the Nokia X30 5G is made with 100% recycled aluminum and 65% recycled plastic, and comes with three years of warranty, three OS upgrades, and three years of monthly security updates.
The phone, designed in Finland, also comes in a reduced packaging size since it doesn’t come with a charger (this saves on transportation CO2 emissions). Using 100% FSC-certified and 94% recycled paper box, HMD Global seeks to promote responsible forestry and support the circular economy.
The X30 5G is equipped with a 50MP PureView camera that uses AI and optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 13MP ultrawide shooter. Meanwhile, its front shooter is a 16MP module.
Other features include a 6.43-inch 90Hz AMOLED display, an under-display fingerprint sensor, and a 4200mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. However, as mentioned, the phone doesn’t come with a charger in the box.
The Nokia X30 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It’s available in a lone Cloudy Blue colorway and can be purchased for P27,990 in all Nokia authorized resellers online and physical stores nationwide starting October 28.
